There are four of them. Two are needed for the site to work at all. Two only run if you say yes, and saying no is exactly as easy as saying yes.
1. How consent works here
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we may only set non-essential cookies with your consent. When you first arrive you get two buttons, Reject all and Accept all. They are the same size, the same weight and sit side by side. Neither is emphasised over the other and neither is pre-selected. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is set until you choose.
Your choice is remembered on your own device. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and the choice will be put to you again.
2. Strictly necessary — always on
These are exempt from consent because the service cannot work without them.

We also store your cookie choice itself in your browser’s local storage, under sugarhold.cookies.v1, so we do not ask you again. That is stored only so we can honour your decision.
3. Analytics — only if you accept

4. What we do not set
No advertising cookies. No social media pixels. No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting. No third-party cookie of any kind is set by this site.
5. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. If you block the strictly necessary ones you will not be able to stay signed in, and the site will not work properly.
